Using your library to borrow books is one of the oldest forms of recycling. It used to be called sharing. New millenium new name.
Another good way to recycle books is to buy secondhand books then re-sell when you have finished with them.

Speaking of recycling, I am sure I have seen this picture before!
Love the idea, love the picture. reusing library books is probably the same idea.
