4 angles & virtual worlds

Watched "You only live twice" and thought it wasn't for me. Also looked at the 4 corners website - still not me and I can't see that it has any applications for libraries.
But a new virtual reality game called Reach Out Central attempts to address the problem of teenage depression and suicide. It was developed by the Inspire Foundation in consultation with psychologists, young people and computer gaming experts, with funding provided by the Sony Foundation and Beyondblue. It is available at the following URL - http://www.reachoutcentral.com.au/
So maybe it could be a tool for library instruction so long as young people and computer gaming experts were involved in the development of a program.

You and most people in the library do not think much of 2nd life, seems to be a theme. It would be interesting to see what sort of people in the real world do enjoy it.

Hi
I think that second life is just a platform for learning what can be done in a virtual world. Most people would relate to a specific use such as the one you have found. It is great to see this type of product
